Fitness Franchises are still trending.
So are you ready to own a Fitness Franchise, and not just belong to a gym? True, it’s almost three months past New Year’s Eve where people resolve to eat healthier and get fit. But, Fitness Franchises are expanding into niche markets. Maybe, it’s because they are offering more than just free weights and exercise machines. Maybe, it’s because of the Baby Boomers wanting to be more healthy and live longer. Or, maybe it’s because people want to try something new. Whatever the reasons, a variety of Fitness Franchises opportunities are out there. Rather than having a one-size-fits-all gym that tries to cover all of the bases, you can have a business opportunity that helps clients focus on a specific type of fun fitness. Are you ready yet?
Your clients can go to a kickboxing Fitness Franchises and join others in a Kickboxing class. Your clients won’t be able to take their aggression out on another person, but they can kick and punch away on your heavy bag. That way, no one leaves with a black eye! Others to consider are iLoveKickboxing, ImpactStrong, 9Round, etc.
Another Fitness Franchise option a Boot Camp type. There are always people wanting to prepare for a race or marathon or a friend’s wedding. Maybe someone is planning to apply to a law enforcement academy or even join the service and want to get in shape before they start. Here are some options: Fit Body Boot Camp, The Max Challenge. Other people don’t need that constant stressful in-your-face attention from a drill sergeant…I mean, instructor. If you’ve been in the military, you will feel right at home.
If you are looking for a Fitness Franchise that caters to women (which is becoming very popular), there are choices out there. Some women prepare to exercise at a gym with other women, which may have a less competitive atmosphere and they can show up “natural looking” – read no makeup. Choices include: EnVie Fitness, Get in Shape For Women, Total Woman Gym & Spa. Maybe, you could connect with a group of Moms looking to get fit, like the getting fit movement of Moms In Motion.
To attract a younger crowd (some can’t even walk), there are Mother & Baby Fitness Franchises. One (Fit4Mom) offers the opportunity form new Moms to exercise with their baby in tow or (“in push” since they’re pushing a stroller); maybe you are a new Mom and want to work with women who have just had a baby and want to get back into shape. You might consider Baby Boot Camp/Karna Fitness which offers Moms pre-and postnatal opportunities. If you want to work at the other end of the age spectrum, maybe you prefer to help Seniors stay active and limber, check out Live 2 B Healthy Senior Fitness.
Have you considered the Fitness Franchises that are on opposite sides of the spectrum? These include both In-Home personal training (GymGuyz) and Groups (Iron Tribe Fitness, Kosama, Orangetheory Fitness.) Some people don’t like the distraction of others around and want the one-on-one attention of a trainer, and other people need the group atmosphere to keep them motivated and accountable. YOu could blend the two with both group training at your facility and personalized in-home trainers. Ready yet?
Can you imagine…some people like to work out at Midnight, or 2 am or 4 am? There are Fitness Franchises available for them (Legacy Fit, Snap Fitness.) Are you a night owl too? This would be perfect in a city that has employment opportunities around the clock. Or, just vampires. Just kidding! Everyone know that Vampires sleep during the day so they wouldn’t be using your gym during the day!
Other niche markets include ballet, dance, martial arts, rock climbing and more! Did you know that there would be so many choices? Which one of these Fitness Franchises appeals to you? You probably realize that I haven’t included every single Fitness Franchise out there. There are so many to choose from; just let me know which one speaks to you. When you’re considering all of the choices, think of what interests you, what vibe you want your fitness franchise to have, and with which demographic you want to work. Then think of all of the happy healthy clients you will be helping! I can help you realize your dream.
